Donate an Item — Deed of Gift
The Society’s Deed of Gift form, completed online. It records your gift, the items, the copyright arrangements for archival material and your agreement. Submitting it is the first of three steps.
This document records the Donor’s gift of written records, photographs, audio and video recordings, other media, goods and property to the Laidley District Historical Society Inc. (Laidley Pioneer Village & Museum). This form conveys the Donor’s instructions to the Laidley District Historical Society Inc. regarding the donation of item/items to its Historical Collection. It also contains the Donor’s obligations regarding transfer of ownership.
See our Privacy Policy. Society and office-use details (agreement number, representative signatures, receipt, recommendation, committee review, letter and accession) are recorded by the Society.
The three steps
You submit this form (Pending Review).
A Society representative countersigns the Deed when your items are received — Tuesdays and Thursdays, by arrangement.
The Management Committee reviews the gift and accepts or declines it, and a letter is sent to you.
Submitting the form does not transfer ownership or mean the gift has been accepted.
Before you bring an item
