Local & Family History
Research help from the Village’s volunteers, using the Society’s records, photographs and archives to explore Laidley history and the greater district.
Historical research
What we can help with
- Cemetery records for the Laidley district.
- Historical photographs of the town, farms, families and businesses.
- General Laidley district history.
- Compiled family histories held by the Society.
- The local archives held at the Village.
Research is carried out by volunteers in the research room at the Village. Fees for research and copying are set by the Society; please ask when you enquire. Send us as much detail as you can — names, approximate dates and places — and we will let you know what we may be able to find.
